Enjoy a beautiful day in a winter wonderland and get to know the Saimaa Geopark in the beautiful surroundings of the Puumala Seal Trail with a local guide. Your guide, Arto, will be waiting for you in the Seal Trail parking lot. We will take a snowshoe tour to the ridges and learn about the history of Lake Saimaa and the old shorelines, the animals in winter, and other wonders you will encounter as you follow your own paths in the forest. We will end the tour at the new Seal Trail shelter, where we will enjoy a hot drink by the fire in Finnish style. Welcome, enjoy winter in Saimaa with us!
Private winter experience for you and your friends

Group size 3-8 people (adult-sized snowshoes only)
Program: Guide Arto will meet you at the Seal Trail parking lot. We will take a snowshoe tour to the ridges and learn about the history of Lake Saimaa and the old shorelines, animals in winter, and other wonders. We will end the tour at the new Seal Trail shelter, where we will enjoy a hot drink and grilled sausages in Finnish style.
NOTE: If you would like to organize the program at a different location, please contact us in advance. If the distance from the center of Puumala is more than 10 km, you will have to pay an additional mileage fee of €0.50 per km for the guide, depending on the distance (payment on site in cash/by credit card).
