Order a water taxi well in advance. You can choose between a covered cabin boat or an open boat. Both can accommodate up to 5 passengers, with room for 4 bicycles.
The water taxi's home port is Nestorinranta, Lintusalo, from where passengers are transported to and from Hurissalo Kivisalmi.
The route is the same as the one served by the Puumala archipelago route ferry Norppa II, according to schedules from May to September. Rely on the water taxi if Norppa's schedules do not fit your plans.
The water taxi driver holds a rental boat driver's license.
