Kauppiaanranta is a well‑equipped, year‑round holiday home with four bedrooms, located on the eastern shore of Lintusalo Island in the Puumala archipelago on Lake Saimaa.

Environment and history
Kauppiaanranta is easy to reach both by land and by water. The shoreline is still marked with old navigation signs from the time when a village shop operated here.
The house was built in the 1990s by the shopkeeper of Lintusalo. One end of the building housed the shop, which served customers arriving both by road and by boat.
Kauppiaanranta stands on a ridge landscape by Uittamoi Bay of Lake Saimaa. Walking paths lead up to the ridge and to other beautiful viewpoints.
The holiday home is fully equipped, offering everything needed for a relaxing stay. Wi‑Fi is available for remote work from autumn to spring.
Nearest food services in summer
Nestorinranta’s main building is 2 km away along the road. Breakfast can be booked there from 9 May to 27 September (2026) when reserved well in advance.
The popular pancake bar operates in summer 3 km from Kauppiaanranta on the western shore of Lintusalo.
When making a reservation
A child aged 0–2 should be marked in the separate free category if they sleep in a cot or in their parents’ bed. If they need their own full‑size bed, include them in the “Number of persons” section.
If you are booking for the following year, please make the reservation by email. Invoicing is done only in the year of the stay.
If you have previously stayed in Nestorinranta’s cottages or rooms, you are entitled to a 10% loyalty discount. Use the code you have received. If you have not received it yet, request it from Nestorinranta.
