The Lieviskänjoki canoeing route offers a varied and exciting canoeing experience on the borders of Puumala, Ruokolahti, and Sulkava.
The approximately 25 km long route runs along sheltered rivers and lake straits, offering peaceful landscapes and views of rapids. There are seven rest areas along the route, three of which have a shelter, and the longest distance between rest areas is 5.7 km. The winding river section and small ponds are well sheltered from the wind, and about 7 km of the river section can be paddled in almost any weather. When moving to the Katosselkä side of Lake Saimaa, the route also offers the opportunity to encounter the rare Saimaa ringed seal.

Tour description: Meeting at Reposenniemi (8), from where transportation to the starting point of the canoeing trip will be provided.
