Gourmet lovers’ round trips from Helsinki to Lake Saimaa

Take a bus trip from Helsinki city centre to the best gourmet tables of Lake Saimaa. On this culinary journey you will have the opportunity to taste the best local delicacies from the Lake Saimaa region.

This two-day bus trip from Helsinki to Saimaa will take place only twice in summer 2024: in May 29-30 May and August 21-22 August.

Programme:

Day 1. We start our journey from the Kiasma charter bus stop in Helsinki at 9:00 and head towards Mikkeli. Our first stop is the "Muisti" Centre for War and Peace. Before visiting the Musti exhibition, we will enjoy a tasty lunch at Cafe Rauha. From Mikkeli we continue our journey to Puumala Sahanlahti, where we will hear the story of Sahanlahti Resort over coffee. After coffee, we will move to the chosen destination for accommodation and dinner.

Day 2. After breakfast, we will continue our journey to Pihlas Resort where we will enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch, we move on to enjoy dessert at the Tea House, located in the courtyard of Manor of Wehmais, Juva. Before our return journey, we will visit Tertti Manor and have dinner in the atmospheric manor house. We will return back to Helsinki at 21:00 at the latest.
