We require experience
This boat is rented out only to high experienced and careful boaters who are familiar with navigation and have operated similar boats. An international yacht driver's license is a good way to prove navigation skills.
The certificate is requested when handing over the boat. If it cannot be presented, the competence must be demonstrated in another way. If it turns out that the necessary skills are not present, the boat cannot be handed over. Rent fee will not be returned.
It is strictly forbidden to operate a boat while intoxicated. If we notice that this rule is violated, we will cancel the rental agreement immediately. Rent fee will not be returned.
Boaters should stay in the fairways in the rocky waters of Lake Saimaa unless they are coming ashore. Special care should be taken when fishing.

Agreement and deposit
Before the boat is rented out, we will make a rental agreement. The renter will be asked to pay a deposit 600 €. which is equal to the deductible in the boat insurance policy.
The deposit will be refunded when the boat is returned undamaged and tidy. We will inspect the boat and motor together with the customer before and after the boat is rented.
We'll charge 15 € for minor scratches. For bigger damage we'll keep the deposit until the boat is repaired. If there is something left we'll return it to the bank account of the customer.
If the boat is not cleaned, we will charge 30 € cleaning fee.
Due to strong wind (over 7 m/s), the customer can cancel the rent free of charge.
Fuel
Rental price doesn't include fuel. The fuel tank will be filled up when the boat is rented out. Consumption of fuel will be checked when the boat is returned back and the customer will be charged according to consumption.
How to book
NOTE if you book the boat from the evening, mark the next day as the start date. This is how you get the right price for your reservation. The boat will be at your disposal no later than 7:30 p.m., but probably already early in the evening. If you want to make sure, make a separate 4-hour reservation for the first day starting in the afternoon.
Hourly reservations and one-day reservations are made using "Short reservation". A reservation of at least 2 days is made using "Overnight reservation". In this case, the boat is available from the morning of the 1st day until the evening of the last day.
