Guided boat fishing trip to Saimaa archipelago from Puumala harbor by big open motor boat. We fish for pikes, zander and perch by spincasting and jigging gear. Great scenery and possibility to spot seal, osprey and other wild-life. This is a private charter tour, only you and your friends in boat. Your Guide is Petteri Hirvonen, an enthousiastic fisherman and fishing guide who has been fishing in Puumala for several decades

Difficulty → moderate, suits normal healthy persons. Earlier fishing experience not required
Start → Meeting place in Puumala, by default in Puumala center boat launch place (adr: Satamatie 6, 52200 Puumala). Extra fee for following starting locations: Sahanlahti resort/Elsanranta villas +10€, Okkola +20€, Koskenselkä +10€ Nestorinranta +30€ or Pistohiekka+50€. Make request for other locations minimum two days prior to departure
Price → 380€/1-4persons. 430€/5persons. 480€/6persons. Minimum fee is 380€ (1-4 persons). All fishermen 18-69 years old need to have a paid fishing licences (fisheries management fee). You can buy licence online at https://www.eraluvat.fi/en/fishing/fisheries-management-fee.html
Price includes → boat, guide services, safety equipment, fishing equipment (jigs and rods), VAT 25,5%. We fish mostly by jig baits. If you want to try spinners, plugs, spoons and other special baits, we have them but you should note that there is a fee for all lost special lures (+5€/lure). We have big selection of jigs, spinners, spoons, jerkbaits, wobblers etc, and you can select your lures before start. After fishing you will pay for all lost special lures if any. You may also use your own lures of course. Guide will show you all necessary techniques before and during fishing

Petteri is a friendly fishing guide from Imatra. Petteri has been fishing for 40 years and as a local cottage dweller he knows the fishing waters of Puumala well. Petteri is expert in jigging for big perch and speaks good English

Full refund if cancelled not later than 7 days before departure.
75% refund if cancelled not later than 48 hours before departure

Where does the boat depart from? The pier next to the boat launch in downtown Puumala, address: Satamatie 6, 52200 PUUMALA (parking and restrooms available). See Google Maps
Can I reserve just one spot? Yes, but the minimum price for this private charter is for four persons.
What if it rains? Remember to dress for the weather
Are there life jackets on the boat? Yes. Life jackets for adults and other necessary safety equipment are provided. If you are bringing small children, please let us know their sizes in advance so that the guide can bring life jackets of the right size for everyone.
Can I bring my pet on the boat? Unfortunately not, as it will interfere with fishing.
When will my reservation be confirmed? After making your reservation, you will immediately receive a confirmation email with instructions on the departure point. If you think you have made a reservation but have not received a confirmation email, please contact sales@lakelandgte.fi (this is usually due to an incorrect email address or the internet connection being disconnected after payment before the payment confirmation has been sent to the online store).
How do I pay for the trip? You can pay in the online store using Mobilepay, credit cards, and bank details, among other methods. The trip is paid for at the time of booking.
Do I need to book in advance? Yes.
