Museum farm canoe trip
This three-hour canoe trip takes you around the sheltered archipelago of Lake Saimaa in a canoe or kayak. With a guide, you will get to know the paddling equipment, the basic techniques of paddling and the nature of Lake Saimaa. During the approximately 7 km kayaking trip we will take a break at the Liehtalanniemi Museum Farm. During the opening hours of the museum farm, the museum's paddler or kayaking guide will introduce visitors to the old archipelago way of life by telling the story of the farm's last inhabitant, Liehtalanniemi Jallu. At the museum farm we will enjoy a coffee and ice-cream break.
