Join us for a summer day cruise from Puumala to Anttola and experience the most diverse and beautiful archipelago landscapes of Lake Saimaa. During the day, the cruise travels from the islands of Puumala through the scenic Lietvesi route, continues across the crystal-clear waters of Lake Luonteri, and finally arrives at the harbour of Anttola near Mikkeli.

This cruise is also easily accessible from Mikkeli. The day begins with a bus transfer from Mikkeli to Puumala at 9:00 am. You may also join the excursion along the route, for example from Anttola, Saimaanranta Resort, Pistohiekka or Puumala.

M/S Aino departs from Puumala Harbour at 12:00 pm towards Anttola. The first leg of the route takes passengers to Nestorinranta on Lintusalo Island, which serves as a connection point for the Norppa II and Rasti bicycle ferries. From Nestorinranta, the cruise continues towards the northern shore of Lake Lietvesi and the magnificent Pistohiekka area, whose sandy beaches are among the most famous natural attractions on Lake Saimaa.

A stop is made at Pistohiekka, where passengers may board or disembark. The journey then continues beneath the Lietvesi Scenic Road Bridge towards Hirvensalo and Kuparovirta. Along the way, passengers can observe the local ferry traffic as the vessel navigates through narrow waterways and island passages on its way to Lake Luonteri.

Lake Luonteri is renowned for its exceptionally clear waters and pristine lake nature. Considered one of the most beautiful lake areas in the Saimaa region, Luonteri offers unforgettable scenery, rocky shorelines and the peaceful atmosphere of the archipelago. From Luonteri, the route continues through the waters of Harvio before arriving at the charming harbour of Anttola.

A delicious soup lunch is served on board between 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm. Meals are prepared according to advance reservations, so we recommend booking your lunch in advance.
