Nestori's Pancake Bar – Summer Treats in the Heart of Saimaa
Nestorin Lettubaari (Pancake Bar) is open during the summer season at Nestorinranta in Lintusalo, Puumala. You’ll find us right next to the bike ferry docks of the Puumala and Saimaa Archipelago Routes.
At our cozy pancake bar, we serve:
Savory and sweet pancakes – also available for takeaway
Coffee, tea, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages
Ice cream
Mild alcoholic drinks also to go
Our savory pancakes feature local ingredients – including rainbow trout raised in Puumala, smoked on-site for a fresh and delicious taste.

Opening hours for Summer 2025:
June 1 – August 31: open daily from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Note: expect busy times during bike ferry and Hop On Hop Off boat arrivals.

Directions by car:
Turn off Highway 62 toward Lintusalo and follow the signs to Lintusalo, then to Nestorinranta.
Along the way, you'll cross the Hätinvirta ferry, which runs continuously except for 20-minute breaks at 9 AM, 12 PM, 5 PM, and 8 PM.
Driving time: approx. 10 minutes from the main road to the ferry, and 15–20 minutes from the ferry to Nestorinranta.
If you have mobility issues or are traveling with small children, you may drive all the way to the shore (no camper vans, please). Otherwise, we kindly ask you to leave your car at the main Nestorinranta parking area and enjoy a scenic 900 m walk down to the lake. Parking space at the shore is limited.

Directions for boaters (from the Vetojao deep-water route):
From the north: steer between the west and east markers toward the southern piers (not the bike ferry dock).
From the south: navigate via Paskoniemi, then directly to the southern piers.
From summer 2025, Nestorin Lettubaari is operated by Too Chill Too Tasty, who will also be serving breakfast and dinner at Nestorinranta’s restaurant facilities.
